ROZHOVOR Z CHADOM SMITHOM O SKUPINE

Toto je zhrnutie z rozhovoru z bubeníkom Chadom Smithom a britským Q Magazine v čísle 275.
Chad Smith, bubeník z Red Hot Chili Peppers, ktorý je v súčasnej dobe členom skupiny Chickenfoot poskytol tento exkluzívny rozhovor. „Nie, nerozpadli sme sa,“ zdôrazňoval. „Len teraz nehráme, ale sakra chlap, hrali sme veľa. Bol čas dať si menšiu pauzu a žiť vlastné životy. Nie sme nejaký bežiaci pás“.
Smith potvrdil, že každý si teraz robí svoje veci, ale tiež tvrdí, že kapela – vrátane gitaristu Johna Fruscianteho – „plánujú sa znovu sa zísť na konci septembra alebo októbra“. „Robíme hudbu, keď je ten správny pocit, nemôžeš ľudí do toho nútiť, tak prečo to robiť? Rob iné veci a potom sa k tomu vráť z novou energiou.“

„Currently on tour with rock supergroup Chickenfoot, Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith spoke exclusively to Q. „No we haven’t split up,“ he insists „We’re not playing right now, but shit, man, we played a lot. It was time to take a little break and live your life. We’re not some conveyorbelt“.

However Smith confirmed that: „Everybody’s kind of doing their own thing right now“ but Smith claims the band – also including guitarist John Frusciante- are planning to „reconvene at the end of September or October“. ‚We make music when it feels right you cant force people to do stuff. If you’re not feeling it, so why do it? Do other thing and come back to it re-energised“
